A couple of days ago, I was home alone trying to put the final touches on our housecleaning before heading off to work. Sweeping under the computer desk, I unearthed a black plastic spider ring from Halloween. For those of you who are familiar with my ... fondness... for spiders can imagine my quite amusing reaction as I jumped about fifteen inches straight up. The 'spider' was lucky, as the killing blow from the broom didn't really harm the plastic. I was lucky, as nobody was around to see the sight!

Oh, how I wish I HAD been there! Although I have no latitude to talk, since I would have jumped AND screamed.
