Yesterday, as a long-awaited finale to Hannah's 12th birthday, we drove down to Jacksonville to see the traveling Broadway play Wicked. Allison, Trevor, and Erin were tended by friends overnight so that the three of us could make this trip. Hannah, Christi, and I ate dinner at Chili's, and then successfully navigated through the crazy Jax streets to the Moran Theater in the Times-Union Center. Hannah absolutely loved the play! As a part of the whole theatre experience, we bought Hannah the t-shirt shown, with "Defy Gravity" on the back. We ended up getting home at about 1:30 this morning, very tired and happy to see the beds!
We want to send out another big "thank you" to all who helped out with ticket cost, binocular purchase, and the other things that made last night possible.

Yaaay! We were thinking of you guys this weekend and hoping you all (y'all) would love it. How about you and Christi? Did YOU like it?
How fun you guys got to go! I saw Hannah's shirt at YW, but forgot to mention something. I love that play! We saw it in Atlanta in October with the Colvers and it is fantastic!
