We have driven the Parks Highway between Fairbanks and Anchorage several times, this was by far the clearest we have been able to see Mount McKinley. It was amazing that one of the most remote highways in the nation had such excellent road conditions in the middle of winter... There were no icy patches in spite of a copious amount of snow.
