Pinewood Derby, Act II
Today, Trevor learned how to spray paint. We went over to Home Depot, where he picked out three colors:
"sparkly" royal blue, candy-apple red, and metallic silver. Trev then drew out on a paper what he wanted the paint job to look like, and I showed him how to mask off the car to get the designs he was after. So far, the bottom chassis is flat black, the body is blue, and the car is sporting a red racing stripe down the center of the longitudinal axis.
Tomorrow we have to add silver windshield and bumpers, possibly another coat of red for the stripe!

Will we get to look at the final product? I am impressed with the technical jargon..."longitudinal axis" and all that.
