Sledding

We drove over to the Air Force base last night, and utilized their lighted sledding hill. We were the only people on the hill, even though the temp was a balmy -7 degrees. Allison was the first to make it to the top of the hill, donned her helmet, and rocketed down the slope. She was screaming the whole way down, and at the bottom yelled, "That was totaly wicked!" The kids had never before gone sledding down a hill, although they have been pulled behind Grandpa's 4-wheeler on sleds before. We only stayed out for just over an hour, mainly because the cold chased us away. I think we will have to pick up another sliding device of some sort, or perhaps the Big Man in Red will drop one off in a couple of weeks!
