Travel through Canada

We left the United States on July 1st, traveling through Canada toward Alaska. The first night, we stayed in a place called 100-Mile House. I have been quite amused, as all of Canada has switched over to the metric system, yet there are towns and landmarks named in miles from the US border. 99-Mile Ranch, 150-Mile House, etc... are all common names here in the southern area of British Columbia.
When we stopped for the night, we took Amber for a walk through a beautiful mountainous community park. Absolutely loved it! We were assaulted by mosquitoes, though, but that was just good training for living in Fairbanks.
We are leaving in the morning, should make it all the way to Dawson's Creek tomorrow!
